Accessibility & Comfort Information
Onward Adventures welcomes guests of many abilities and works to make our experiences as inclusive and comfortable as possible. Because our tours take place along the Oregon North Coast and include natural outdoor locations, accessibility may vary depending on the specific stops.
At this time, our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair ramps and we are not able to transport wheelchairs or provide wheelchair-accessible boarding. Guests must be able to step up into the vehicle with limited assistance.
Our tours include multiple scenic stops where guests may step out to explore beaches, viewpoints, and historic sites. These areas may include sand, uneven ground, stairs, or short walking distances. Participation at each stop is optional. Guests are always welcome to remain in the vehicle if they prefer.
For beach stops, beach chairs are available upon request. We normally carry four chairs in the vehicle, and additional chairs may be available if requested ahead of time. This allows guests to relax and enjoy the ocean views near the vehicle while others walk down the dunes or explore the beach area.
Inside the vehicle, a yellow safety strip helps highlight the aisle and steps to make them easier to see when boarding, moving through the vehicle, or exiting.
For guest comfort, we carry small pillows and blankets on board. We also keep simple comfort items such as fidget toys and ear plugs available for guests who may benefit from them.
Bathroom breaks are typically available approximately every 20 minutes during the tour at public facilities or designated stops.
Tours are conducted in English. With advance notice, we may be able to help arrange Spanish-speaking guides or sign language interpretation through local partners when available.
Onward Adventures offers private tours for solo travelers and groups of up to 14 guests.
If you have accessibility questions or specific needs, please contact us before booking so we can discuss the tour and help determine the best experience for your group.
